The sons and daughters of sinners are always wronged.

The measure is simply this: all things should be equal.

Even the pain of the sins committed before we were born.

And the hope is that as the world grows older,

the pain will lessen into nothingness.

Dream of a coming darkness against the heaviness of warm air.
Dream of a light rain pushing into the grayness of the dusk.
Dream of cool water collecting in the pools beneath your feet.
Dream of street lamps making shadows of passing streams.
Dream of a person with hands rooted deep.
Dream of your own firm against another's.
